Travel Agency Registration at Civil Aviation

Civil aviation registration is important for a travel agency offering services like hotel accommodation, air ticketing, and tour packages because it enables the agency to operate legally and professionally within the aviation sector. In Bangladesh, this registration ensures that the agency is recognized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and complies with the country’s aviation laws and regulations.

Here are the key reasons why a civil aviation registration is necessary for such travel agencies:

  1. Legal Compliance: It ensures that your agency adheres to the legal and regulatory requirements set by CAAB.
  2. Accreditation: Being registered with CAAB gives your agency credibility and trust among customers and airlines.
  3. Operational Benefits: It allows your agency to work directly with airlines, providing ticketing services without intermediaries.
  4. Consumer Protection: The registration helps in safeguarding consumers’ interests by ensuring that the agency operates within the prescribed safety and ethical guidelines.
